JCPenney, Wal-Mart and Safeway Among New Members Of Law Enforcement Group

The two-month-old Law Enforcement Retail Partnership Network has announced new retailer members–including JCPenney, Wal-Mart, Safeway and CircuitCity–bringing its membership to 45.
Other new members coughing up the $1,200 annual membership dues include Albertson’s, AutoZone, Coach, Fortunoff, Kohl’s, Limited, Macy’s, Safeway, Saks, Sears, Tiffany, Vitamin Shoppe, Walgreen and Williams-Sonoma.

I have strong reservations about the 'individual' certification and posting of that information for merchants. Can you imagine the potential employee poaching that might occur? The implications when competitors can look up how many are certified with each of their competitors?
